The Government of Mozambique, through the National Fund for Sustainable Development (FNDS), has received funding from the World Bank to implement the Project "Conservation Areas for Biodiversity and Development" - MozBio 2, which aims to improve the management of the landscapes targeted by the Conservation Areas and to improve the living conditions of the communities in and around these areas. In this context, FNDS intends to apply part of this funding to make payments under the Contract resulting from this consultancy.

The object of this procurement is to hire the services of a firm to assess, value, raise the general awareness, and identify feasible mechanisms to unlock the benefits from the management of ecosystems services and products of Mozambique’s Conservation Areas System as a source of revenue generation for ANAC as well as forms of ANAC’s contribution to the socio-economic development agenda of Mozambique.
